Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped pineapple, habanero peppers, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, water, honey, salt, minced garlic, and chopped onion.
  2. Cook the Mixture:
    • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the pineapple is soft and the flavors have melded.
  3. Cool and Blend:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
    • Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor. Add the lime juice and blend until smooth.
  4. Adjust Consistency:
    • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a bit more water and blend again.
  5. Bottle the Sauce:
    • Carefully pour the hot sauce into sterilized bottles or jars.
  6. Store:
    • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
