MOM’S FAMOUS CREAM PUFFS

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cream Puff Dough:
    • In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water, butter, and vanilla to a boil.
    • Add the flour to the boiling mixture.
    • Stir constantly until the dough leaves the sides of the pot and forms a ball.
    • Remove from heat and allow the dough to cool slightly.

    • Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
    • Continue mixing until the dough is smooth and glossy.
  3. Shape and Bake:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto parchment-lined cookie sheets. Aim to create about 8 large cream puffs.
    • Bake for about 40 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown and fully expanded.
