Mom’s Christmas Jello Balls

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the gelatin powder, 3/4 cup of the shredded coconut, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar.
    • Stir until everything is well blended and evenly mixed.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients:
    • Pour in the melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
    • Stir the mixture thoroughly until it becomes thick and sticky.
  3. Form the Balls:
    • Using your hands, roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
    • The mixture should be sticky but firm enough to hold its shape.
  4. Coat with Coconut:
    • Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded coconut on a plate.
    • Roll each Jello ball in the coconut until coated evenly.
  5. Chill:
    • Place the Jello balls on a baking sheet or tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  6. Serve:
    • Once chilled, the Jello balls are ready to serve.
    • Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to enjoy.
