Homemade Peanut Butter Pumpkin Soft Dog Treats

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Wet Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and eggs. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the Flour:
    • Gradually add the whole wheat flour, about 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until the dough becomes thick and slightly sticky.
  4. Roll Out the Dough:
    • Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter (bone-shaped or any fun shape) to cut out the treats and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the Treats:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly browned.
  6. Cool and Store:
    • Allow the treats to cool completely before serving them to your dog. Store the treats in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
