Hawaiian Pineapple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Instructions

For the Cake:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
    • Add the undrained crushed pineapple (including the juice) to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts.
  3. Bake the Cake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
