Instructions:
- Bloom the Gelatin:
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat the Dr. Pepper:
- In a medium saucepan, heat the Dr. Pepper over medium heat until it begins to simmer. If you prefer a sweeter jelly, add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
- Combine and Dissolve Gelatin:
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot Dr. Pepper and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Pour into Molds:
- Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving dishes. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Chill:
- Once cooled, transfer the mold or dishes to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 4 hours, or until the jelly is fully set.
- Serve:
- To serve, run a knife around the edges of the mold and gently unmold the jelly onto a plate. Alternatively, serve directly from the individual dishes.
