Caramel Apple Fudge

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:
    • Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving a slight overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
  2. Melt the Chocolate and Butter:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
    • Melt over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat or burn the mixture.
  3. Add Flavorings:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the apple drink mix, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until the apple flavor and spices are evenly incorporated.
  4. Layer the Fudge:
    • Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
    • Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the fudge layer.
    • Pour the remaining fudge mixture on top, spreading it smoothly.
  5. Add Caramel Swirl:
    • Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top layer of fudge.
    • Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the caramel into the fudge, creating a marbled effect.
  6. Chill and Set:
    • Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm and set.
  7. Cut and Serve:
    • Once fully set, use the overhanging parchment or foil to lift the fudge out of the pan.
    • Cut into small squares with a sharp knife.
  8. Store:
    • Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
