Apple Pie Bread

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the yellow cake mix, self-rising flour, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Add the mashed apple pie filling and slightly beaten eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in Fresh Apples:
    • Gently fold in the chopped apple pieces until evenly distributed.
  5. Prepare the Loaf Pans:
    • Grease two loaf pans and pour the batter evenly into each pan.
  6. Add Topping:
    • Sprinkle the tops of the batter with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon to your taste.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaves comes out clean.
  8. Cool and Serve:
    • Remove the loaves from the oven and allow them to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
