Apple Pie Bread

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease two loaf pans.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the yellow cake mix, self-rising flour, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients:
    • Stir in the slightly beaten eggs and mashed apple pie filling to the dry mixture until everything is incorporated.
  4. Fold in Fresh Apples:
    • Gently fold in the chopped apple pieces, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  5. Prepare for Baking:
    • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pans, dividing it equally between the two.
  6. Top with Cinnamon Sugar:
    • Sprinkle a mixture of sugar and cinnamon over the top of the batter in each pan for a sweet, crunchy finish.
  7. Bake:
    • Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
