Directions:
- Preheat and Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease cookie sheets or line them with parchment paper.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugars:
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla:
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients:
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Fold in Add-ins:
- Fold in the chocolate chips, sweetened coconut, and chopped almonds until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake:
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Cool:
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
