- Melt the chocolate chips according to the package instructions.
- If desired, add vegetable shortening or coconut oil for a smoother consistency.
- Dip the Peanut Butter Balls:
- Using a fork, dip the peanut butter balls one at a time into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the chocolate-covered balls onto wax paper, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
